Hospital Radio Lynn is a registered charity (number 270671) run by volunteers who provide a dedicated broadcasting service to patients of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We broadcast 2 hours of requests and dedications free of charge to patients who find hearing their own choice of music a welcome diversion from their illnesses. We receive no financial support from the government or NHS and rely totally on donations and our volunteers time.
Patients can hear us on their Hospedia consoles; depending on the night, live broadcasting starts at 6 or 7pm each evening until 10 or 11pm. During the rest of the time we broadcast our own automated programmes. Our channel is totally FREE OF CHARGE to all listeners.
